Gender Studies

I’m excited to announce that beginning in May 2023, I will be teaching with the Gender Studies program at the University of Arkansas. Gender is a hugely important part of my research, so it’s a thrill to work on developing new courses for this exciting program. Some of the courses I’m working on are:

  • Gender and the Environment: Feminism(s) and the Anthropocene
  • Dissecting Gender with/in/for Science
  • Deflowering: Gender, Sexuality, and Plants
  • Women and Other(ed) Animals

I’ll post more news as it becomes available. For now, I’m working with the amazing Lisa Corrigan to get these courses out to all the students who can benefit from them, which includes students in the Humanities (literature and Creative Writing, history, anthropology, sociology, etc.) and also STEM (especially agriculture, food, and life sciences, botany, biology, geology, and medical fields).
