Digital Humanities Portfolio
I’ve been lucky enough to work on a number of exciting projects, helping to build and maintain websites, enhance Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and create assets for digital projects. Please see some of my work below.
Adaptation Today
My responsibilities with Adaptation Today include the creation and maintenance of our website, which hosts pedagogy materials, mentoring resources, and a podcast, as well as other educational and networking resources. I also maintain a listserv, which is hosted on the website.
Unidisciplining the Victorian Classroom (UVC)
My work on the UVC website has been in developing web pages for syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments. You can see an example of my work by clicking on the image below.

Boom or Bust Research Archive

I was contracted to create a digital archive as an extension of an NEH project titled “Boom or Bust: A Collection and Study of Energy Narratives.” I worked with images and specifications of the other project leaders to create the site from scratch. See it here.
Website for Society for the Study of Southern Literature (SSSL)

In 2018, I was hired as the Digital Media Coordinator for the Society for the Study of Southern Literature. In addition to regular maintenance, I created new content for the site, especially related to its biennial conference. I was in this position until 2020, but you can see the most recent version of the site here.
The Sapient Pig Online
When I built the Graduate Students in English (GSE) website in Fall 2018, I had to start from scratch. The last site, which GSE no longer has access to, was last updated in Spring 2017. By viewing the original site here, you’ll notice that I maintained the original structure of the site, but added new many new assets. I also gave it a fresh look.

The Sapient Pig Newsletter
Every month, I designed and created content for a long-standing GSE newsletter. I used Adobe InDesign to create these documents. Click on the download button below to see my first newsletter, created in September 2018.
