I’m really pleased to announce that I won the 2026 New Faculty Member of the Year Award at The W. This award goes to any faculty member who joined The W campus within the last five years and its purpose is “to reward the hard work of a newer faculty member in supporting the academic mission of MUW.”

I’m very grateful to the people who nominated me for this award, and I was so entranced by the MUW Alumni Association Convocation, where I received it. The ceremony was so wonderful and it was gratifying to see the beautiful traditions of this university, still joyfully on display. I got to see the Golden Girls, who graduated in 1976 (their 50 year anniversary!) and won the Best Class Ever award.

I look forward to many more years at The W!
